What Will Participants Learn At Fastener Training Week?
The curriculum covers technical specifications, manufacturing processes, and quality control. Students will participate in learning labs, in-depth case studies, and interactive exercises. The training includes hands-on equipment experience with gages and calipers.
Attendees will study consensus standards, print reading and tolerances. The course material covers specifications for steel fasteners, thread technology, and structural bolts. Participants will also have off-site plant tours.
Two industry experts from the Industrial Fasteners Institute will lead the training. Salim Brahimi is the Director of Engineering Technology for the Industrial Fasteners Institute. Laurence Claus serves as the IFI Director of Education and Training.
Fastener Training Week Location and Logistics
Fastener Training Week will take place at the Sable at Navy Pier. The hotel venue is located at 900 East Grand Avenue in Chicago. Registration includes five consecutive days of instruction, training materials, continental breakfast, lunch, and transportation for all off-site plant tours.
Participants will also have dedicated time to explore the FSTNR Week tabletop show. Standard registration is $3,300 per single participant. Fastener association members receive a discounted rate of $2,800.
