Founded in 1948 by Chicago Industrialist Marty Binder, the company proudly continues a legacy of manufacturing leadership in America four generations later. A feature story in Link Magazine, one of the industry’s most respected trade journals, celebrates Abbott’s humble beginnings in a small factory across from the legendary Gene and Georgetti restaurant in Chicago, culminating in a move to a world-class 5-acre facility in Wheeling, IL. “Abbott has seen consistent growth for eight decades and has served more than 50,000 customers. recently introduced a state-of-the-art high-volume CNC factory within a factory, offering precision parts to more than 30 different industries, including aerospace, medical, marine, solar, and automotive.
