Phoenix, AZ – The International Fastener Expo (IFE) is proud to announce the recipients of its two highest individual industry honors for 2026. Taryn Goodman, Vice President of Industrial Rivet & Fastener Co., has been named the 2026 Young Fastener Professional (YFP) of the Year, while Tim Roberto Jr., President of Star Stainless Screw Company, will be inducted into the International Fastener Expo Hall of Fame. These awards recognize individuals whose leadership, innovation, and dedication have made a lasting impact on the fastener industry and its future.

Taryn Goodman
Taryn Goodman’s connection to the fastener industry began long before she officially joined Industrial Rivet & Fastener Co. in 2012 as Assistant Treasurer. Growing up in the family business, she gained early exposure by helping organize company files and entering orders into one of the company’s earliest computer systems. After earning dual degrees in Economics and Biology from Williams College, she began her career in investment banking before earning her MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She returned to Industrial Rivet full-time as Vice President, where she has become an integral member of the executive leadership team. Her blend of financial expertise, strategic leadership, and commitment to the family business exemplifies the next generation of fastener industry leadership.

Tim Roberto Jr.
Tim Roberto Jr. has dedicated 35 years to Star Stainless Screw Company, beginning his career in the warehouse and rising through the organization to become one of the industry’s most respected leaders. A respected educator and speaker, he has shared expertise on global sourcing, stainless steel and nickel pricing, supply chain dynamics, and market trends. He has served in leadership roles with NFDA, Pac-West, FTI, and the Fastener Education Fund, while consistently supporting industry education, workforce development, and networking. Tim also helped expand the industry’s product landscape through specialty fastening solutions and secured the exclusive North American distribution partnership with Bumax.
