Dan Walker

Daniel Walker serves as Managing Director of the Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI), where he leads the organization's strategic direction, operations, communications, government relations, and member engagement initiatives. Since joining IFI in 2018, Daniel has been responsible for advancing the institute's mission of supporting and strengthening the fastener manufacturing industry through advocacy, technical leadership, and industry collaboration.

With more than 25 years of experience in engineering, association management, and building products manufacturing, Daniel brings a unique blend of technical expertise and executive leadership to the industry. Prior to IFI, he served as General Manager of the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) and held leadership roles with Thomas Associates, Inc., where he managed engineering and technical services programs for numerous industry organizations. His extensive background in standards development, technical education, strategic planning, and industry advocacy has made him a respected voice within manufacturing and trade association leadership.
