FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Rebrand, Phoenix debut, new summit, and expanded show experiences signal the next chapter for the fastener community
PHOENIX, Ariz., May 4, 2026 — International Fastener Expo (IFE), North America’s largest fastener trade show, today announced a new chapter for the event and the fastener community it serves. Under the new brand theme, “The Power Behind the Build,” IFE 2026 will debut a rebrand, a new host city in Phoenix, the inaugural International Fastener & Assembly Summit, expanded show floor features, refreshed networking experiences, and new leadership under Show Director Kayla McGarry.
The updated IFE brand and newly launched website reflect a broader focus on the role fasteners play across manufacturing and supply chains. The theme, “The Power Behind the Build,” positions the event around the products, partnerships, and technical expertise that keep critical industries moving. For the fastener community, the rebrand signals more than a visual change. It reflects IFE’s continued investment in serving the people and companies that drive product quality, sourcing decisions, and supply chain performance.
The Inaugural International Fastener & Assembly Summit
Alongside the rebrand, IFE 2026 will debut a new educational event designed to address key challenges faced by attendees and exhibitors. Join us on October 7, 2026, at the Phoenix Convention Center for the inaugural International Fastener & Assembly Summit (IFAS). Occurring the day before the Expo Hall opens, this one-day, unique dual-layered event is designed specifically to advance fastener-integrated design, assembly systems, and production excellence. There is no better place for procurement leaders in aerospace, automotive, electronics, medical devices, and semiconductors to streamline supply chain operations and source new suppliers. With a high-level educational program and dedicated networking breaks woven throughout the day to maximize peer connections and supplier conversations, you can expect to build relationships, reduce your procurement time, and make the best buying decisions for your business at this year’s most comprehensive gathering.
Track 1: Strategic Sessions Led by IFE
Experience a high-level educational track designed to mirror how real manufacturing leaders make decisions. Curated by the International Fastener Expo, the strategic plenary sessions bring you face-to-face with senior leaders from companies like General Motors, Toyota, Ford, The Würth Group, McKinsey & Company, Timken, Fastenal, Zimmer Biomet, and the US Air Force Research Lab. These speakers are at the forefront of the industry—navigating AI-driven manufacturing at scale, strengthening supply chain resilience, mitigating risk, leading on zero-defect quality, and transforming production with automation, data, and emerging technologies. Each session goes beyond the abstract, offering actionable frameworks and real-world strategies you can implement immediately to drive growth, alignment, and innovation in your operation all within a single day.
Track 2: Technical Breakout Sessions Led by FTI
The Fastener Training Institute (FTI) takes the lead in delivering unmatched technical depth. Their expert-led sessions focus on the engineering challenges that define high-spec manufacturing. Topics include joint design and preload control, failure analysis (like hydrogen embrittlement and corrosion), materials, compliance standards (ISO, IATF, AS9100), quality systems, and advanced risk management. Each session features real-world case studies to ensure you leave with practical tools and strategies that you can apply immediately to your operation. FTI’s technical authority ensures you are equipped to tackle design validation, production scalability, and supplier compliance with confidence.
Accelerate Outcomes Through Intentional Matchmaking
One of the most valuable parts of the Summit is our prearranged 1-on-1 meetings, powered by our dedicated matchmaking process. After you register, you will be asked to complete a short matchmaking form that helps us understand your company type, business goals, and current pain points. These insights allow us to build your personalized 1-on-1 meeting schedule in advance, maximizing your time onsite and ensuring meaningful conversations with the exact solution providers and peers necessary to solve your specific bottlenecks. Our team builds your schedule for maximum value, so each 1-to-1 session is focused and relevant You will not wander a crowded hall hoping for a good conversation. Instead, you will participate in intentional matchmaking designed to yield measurable success. Expect to leave the summit with two to three validated production decisions and entirely new supplier pathways. Register here to connect with industry peers, discover new supplier opportunities, and improve efficiency across your procurement operations!
